Hello! My name is Madelyn “Maddy” Ziegelbein, and I currently serve as the Lead Recruitment Manager and Administrative Assistant at Goldenrod Nanny Agency. In these roles, I have the opportunity to connect with compassionate and dedicated nanny candidates and I take great pride in helping to make those important connections.

I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 2018. Following high school, I pursued coursework in the medical field through Bryan College of Health Sciences and Southeast Community College. My passion for the healthcare industry continues to drive me, and I’m currently still working towards completing my degree in this field. I find that my background in healthcare, combined with my deep interest in childcare, provides me with a unique perspective in my current work.

From a young age, I’ve always had a strong passion for childcare and family support. Over the last decade, I’ve gathered more than ten years of practical, hands-on experience in the field. My journey began with roles at local daycares, followed by nannying for infants, and countless hours spent babysitting for families in my community. These experiences have helped me develop a deep commitment to helping children thrive, grow, and achieve their developmental milestones. I’ve always believed that every child deserves to feel nurtured and supported in their journey of learning, and that belief has driven much of my career. My professional journey really took off nearly ten years ago when I first started working at the YMCA Child Watch Center, and I’ve found that every new experience with children only strengthens my passion for this work. At present, I’m working in the infant room at Little Wonderland Daycare, where I continue to hone my skills and further cultivate my love for working with young children.

Outside of work, I try to make the most of my time off by traveling whenever I can—especially to the beach, which is a place I find both relaxing and inspiring. I’m also a big fan of spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, biking, or just enjoying the natural world. I cherish time with my fiancé and our two pets: Boots, our playful cat, and Izzy, our loyal dog. Together, we’re eagerly preparing for the arrival of our first child, which is an exciting and transformative chapter in our lives. This new addition is giving me a fresh perspective that I look forward to bringing to my work as I continue supporting families and caregivers.

I take great pride in being someone who is reliable, organized, and deeply committed to providing the highest level of support for both the families and caregivers I work with. I truly value the relationships I build and the role I get to play in helping children and families thrive.
